DRAGONHEAD FEATURE FILM
Based on a true story, The Dragonhead follows the journey of Johnny Kon from a young boy pulling scams on the streets of Shenzhen, to joining a gang as a young man in Hong Kong, to becoming the head of Chinese organized crime in New York City. Coming to the United States in the early 1970s, Johnny Kon builds a criminal empire and becomes the biggest heroin importer in the country. In America, Johnny also finds love with a Chinese singer named Isabel, and together they start a family. As Johnny’s criminal business grows, his relationship with his wife and his family deteriorates, and soon Johnny is forced to choose between his blood and his empire.
