JOHN LIANG DIRECTOR
Born and raised in Chicago, John graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2007. His thesis film “Like Father Like Edison” won the Audience Award at the Chicago Reel Shorts Film Festival in 2006. While living in New York, he worked as a writer for The Onion News Network, and later worked as an associate producer on the feature film ANIMALS, which won a Special Jury Award at the 2014 SXSW Film Festival. In 2019, he released, RECOVERY, his first feature film as co-writer and director. He is currently based in Los Angeles, and preparing his next feature film, REUNION.
